Headlight ring

Long ago headlight replaced with russian OKA headlight and I threw old ring somewhere. Ordered headlight from Autopal and can not find old ring for mounting.

Fabbed a headlight ring from 30x30 aluminum angle,

Maintenance

Changed rear diff fluid with Toyota LSD 75W85 gear oil, of course cleaned everything inside rear diff.
Tested with rear on air, got both wheels spinning same direction.

Adjusted rear drum brake

Replaced oxygen sensor with new Bosch 0258005704.
Did ECU reset and having little rough idle. Hope it will stabilize and improve

Fixed passenger side LCA lateral movement, it pressed a bit during previous bushing replacement.

Aligned front end and steering wheel centered

ZJ ignition coil

Got ignition coil of ZJ from friend.

My old one (left) - aluminum terminal and one from ZJ (right) - brass terminal

sprayed some electric contact cleaner/protector and installed.

Valve cover gasket

Ordered Felpro PermaDryPlus valve cover gasket from RockAuto and it arrived today. It has metal core and blue RTV silicone pre applied.  

Disconnected throttle cable & AT cable, CCV, PCV hoses and removed valve cover.

Before I used black RTV silicone as gasket, but it was leaking oil. Compared to new Felpro gasket, it seems I applied silicone little too thin.

 Not so bad, isn't it?

Went for little wheeling this morning. Was foggy and slippery.
