Fender flares

Decided to make a fender flare. Bought 25x25mm angle iron for making support and 80cm x 0.8cm conveyor belt for flare.

starting, already cut front fender

making a shape template

 will cut excess bumper end

half cut of angle iron and exactly as template

following fender shape

supports for both left and right side 

fender well pressure washed, there was a mountain of mud,  then spray painted

test fit of support, firewall side

 bumper side

 drilled a holes for screws, both on support and fender

test fit

bumper ends cut, following the shape of support

 screwed to support,

 backide

mounted to fender

driver side bumper end cut,  ready to mount

driver side front wheel well, inside view, bumper side

center

and firewall side

mounted and gap filled with silicone sealant

rear flares are screwed to folded edge
