Floor repair

While having a rust in rocker area, decided to remove carpet and check rust under.

 

 

wire wheeled all of them and treated with Wurth rust converter

  

Primed

 

Brought 2mm steel plate, measured, cut, fold, and fit, btw will make 4 plate and bolt down them and weld here and there

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

time to go, silicone between floor and steel plate along the curve

 

tighten them all, hit and massage etc

 

 

add some silicone around the edge

Added more silicone around, primed and painted again
